

















Kisumu, Kenya – In a deep-dive consultative session at the County Assembly chambers, USK Foundation delegates met with the Speaker of the Kisumu County Assembly, Hon. Elisha Jack Oraro, and members of the Assembly. The discussions focused on integrating UAN’s global “indigenous-centered models” into the county’s legislative and development frameworks.
The dialogue explored critical areas of cooperation, including food security (Annalaya), digital empowerment for the youth, and the protection of Lake Victoria’s ecosystem. Speaker Oraro, a proponent of sustainable development, highlighted the importance of partnerships that prioritize local heritage while driving modern economic growth, setting a collaborative tone for the days ahead.
